Guimarães is situated in North of Portugal, 56 km far from Oporto, the second largest city of Portugal. The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport, at Oporto located 40 km away from the University of Minho. From there the participants can take a bus (transfer service - GET BUS), a taxi or a rented car to arrive at the event. From the Oporto city centre the participants will find hourly train and bus connections. For those who arrive from Spain, Guimarães is about 60 minutes far from Vigo. Guimarães has motorway access from Porto and Vigo.
